The cookies and similar technologies we use on this website, what they do, and how to change your choices.
Last updated: 23 July 2026
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. We also use closely related technologies such as browser localStorage. On this site we keep their use to a minimum: one strictly-necessary item to remember your cookie choice, and a small number of analytics and advertising cookies that only load after you accept.
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. Nothing beyond the strictly-necessary consent record is set until you choose Accept. If you choose Decline, no analytics or marketing cookies are loaded. You can change your mind at any time using the control (also linked in the footer of every page).
These are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. They do not track you.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
wsiq_cookie_consent | WorkstyleIQ | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies (stored in localStorage). | Until you clear it |
Set only after you accept. They help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell this data. We use the same Google tag for analytics and advertising, so it also sets the advertising cookie listed under Advertising below.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_<id> | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes visitors and measures page views and site usage. | Up to ~13 months |
__hstc, hubspotutk, __hssc, __hssrc | HubSpot | Our CRM and email platform; measures site visits and links a waitlist sign-up to your activity. | Session to ~6 months |
We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a cookieless service that measures aggregate site traffic. It loads only after you accept, sets no cookies, and stores nothing on your device, so it does not appear in the table above and does not track you across sites.
Set only after you accept. The same Google tag we use for analytics also supports advertising, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag lets us measure the performance of our LinkedIn ad campaigns and show relevant ads to people who have visited this site. We never sell your data.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au (and related _gcl_*) | Google (Google Ads / Google tag) | Conversion measurement and remarketing audiences via Google Ads / Google Signals, using the same Google tag as our analytics. | ~90 days |
li_sugr, UserMatchHistory, AnalyticsSyncHistory, bcookie, lidc | LinkedIn (Insight Tag) | Conversion measurement and retargeting for our LinkedIn ad campaigns. | Session to ~2 years |
Use the control to reopen the banner and change your choice. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; note that declining analytics cookies already in place does not remove ones loaded earlier in the same browsing session until you close the tab or reload.
If you would rather Google Analytics did not measure your activity at all, Google provides an official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Once installed, it tells Google Analytics (including our GA4 property) not to collect data about your visits. It works at the browser level, so it applies to every website you visit — not just this one — and stays in effect until you remove it. Note that the add-on covers analytics only; to control the advertising cookies set by the Google tag and the LinkedIn Insight Tag on this site, choose Decline or use the control.
For how we handle the personal data collected through this website and our waitlist, see our Privacy Notice. Any questions? Email us at privacy@workstyleiq.com.
